Micro-Bucketed Architecture

Unlike traditional sitemaps that dump all URLs into one file, AI Sitemap uses micro-bucketing:

• URLs are organized into small, focused sitemap files by content type
• Each bucket contains a manageable number of URLs (configurable, default: 500)
• A sitemap index file (sitemap_index.xml) links all buckets together
• Search engines can process smaller files more efficiently

Content Types

AI Sitemap generates separate sitemaps for:

Auto-Rebuild

The sitemap automatically rebuilds when:

• A new post is published

Setup
